It seems that while Eric was eyeing the Comicon infinity on the west side of Manhattan this past weekend, I was downtown under an endless rain of firecracker confetti on Mott Street. Sorry we missed each other, Eric. On top of that, I'm having problems uploading my photo of the Chinese New Year Parade aftermath. Instead, you get this rather appropriate image, from a Blogger draft I started writing when I was in San Francisco last week.
I took this photo in the Mission District, home of my long lost love (the carne asada super burrito) and where, up until the subsequent trip to my other heart-tugger, New York City, I was convinced on moving to next.
So this post is really a plea to all of you out there who've had affairs with both cities to give me your advice: Golden Gate or Brooklyn Bridge? Transamerica or the Empire State? Long Beach, LI or Pacifica? MUNI/BART or the MTA? The Cheeseboard or... is there any Gotham equivalent? It is the lunar new year of the pig 2007 and the forecast calls for change and mobility. I'll take your comments starting... now.

Golden Gate all the way. And Nob Hill, Grace Cathedral, Union Square, Dottie's...
New York. Much as I love SF and Cali, if there's nothing really broke with NYC don't bother fixing it. There's just that much more happening in NYC than in SF.
