Coney Island Baby
So if anyone knows anything about the artist Dain, please comment. That's another of his pieces. I just read that he is a graffiti artist from Coney Island, who was apparently making the scene more in the '80s. I suppose using images of Bruce Lee is somewhat generic, but I'm more into the fact that he's from Coney Island, home turf of the Warriors, the World Championship Hot Dog eating contest, and that fake palm tree shower.

I just had to go look this guy up, because earlier today, I was doing research for a story I'm writing, and David Choe's name came up, which led me to his site, when I realized where I'd seen him before. And my first Audrey Kawasaki print is awaiting its frame (I saw your piece on her way back).
With all that in mind, any artist mentioned here is worth at least a minor investment of my time. So I glanced over ExpressoBeans, where
I found out that Dain pulls prints himself, which is pretty damn cool.
Now I've got some reading to do at work tomorrow. Thanks!
